First, there is a phone screen with a recruiter. Then, there is a one-hour pair programming session with a team lead. I was not told any details in preparation for the technical screen even after I asked and was asked to code in Java, a programming language I did not know at the time. The technical screen was tricky, as I was unsure if they were looking for someone who is teachable or someone who already knew how to implement a Set. Feedback will also not be given to rejected candidates. Like most other technical apprenticeships, it is both extremely competitive to get in and tricky to find out what they are looking for in an apprentice. A clearer job description and required technical experience would help determine who should apply.
