Our intention is always to respect candidates’ time by providing the full interview plan upfront. In this search, an unexpected personal emergency and the inclusion of an additional finalist extended the process longer than planned. We recognize this caused uncertainty and will continue to focus on clear, proactive communication.
We also want to clarify a few points. To minimize unpaid effort, our work sample request was designed around past relevant work rather than asking candidates to build new projects, and candidate submissions are never used outside of the hiring process. While you mentioned the role being paused, this position remained active through the process, and a final decision was made at its conclusion. We regret that our updates didn’t make this clear.
