I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cognizant (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2016
Interview
I have given interview at Gurgaon office for Bangalore and They have taken total four round.
1) Technical written
2) Technical interview-1
3) Technical interview-2
4) HR
Interviewer told me that they are hiring for Apple account and need candidate 5+ exp. in Java/J2EE.
My both technical interview are cool and after that they have given a HR form to fill all necessary details and then I submitted. In that I have mentioned my base package as 11.5 lacs, while I am working in Gurgaon and ECTC is 17 lacs. HR said to me that she can only offer 13 lacs. I said what then she said we can offer max 14 lacs and said we can offer you onsite (that was lollipop). I rejected her offer and come to home.
I always listen about Cognizant that they always give handsome package to employee, But I was totally disjointed by HR as they bargain like vegetable market.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1

I applied online. I interviewed at Cognizant (Hyderābād) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interviewer asked most of the questions from resume and she doesn't even understand the difference between my previous employer and client also the interview should be more technical to Power BI but she revealed that she is looking for a person in Power apps. Question to Cognizant is why did they even conducted this interview when you are looking for other skills rather than Power BI which I clearly mentioned in the resume more over the technical questions should be asked based on experience the questions i was asked were not even basics and I expect to have asked more difficult questions in Power BI when I'm about to get hired. Loss on you.
