I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cognizant (Coimbatore) in May 2018
Interview
I attended the interview on campus. It consisted of 5 rounds.
Round 1: Online Aptitude
Round 2: Group Discussions/ Jam
Round 3: Technical HR
Round 4: General HR
Round 5: Final HR
Round 1: Online Aptitude
It was just a formality. It consisted of simple Aptitude, Reasoning and Verbal questions.
Round 2: Group Discussion / Jam
We were asked to occupy rooms in 20s. Your attitude, fluency and confidence will play a vital role here. (Our topic was Digital India which is the most discussed GD in CTS). It was moreover like JAM.
Round 3: Technical HR
As I am from Mechanical background, questions like
working of Steam Turbine, Petrol & Diesel engine were asked.
Round 4: General HR
It was quite easy. General questions about you and to talk about your favorite movie were some among them.
Round 5:Final HR
Pretty general questions like why you chose CTS were easy.
Overall the interview will be easy if you are clear and confident in what you speak. Have a positive mindset.
Tips: During GD don't rush your points even if you are fluent and clear. My colleague was rejected because of it.
