Telephonic then Video conferencing.
Asked about your area of interest and some basic statistics questions. 2-3 rounds of interviews are done with not so much drill down. Telephonic would cover basic understanding about your profile, interests, and area you have worked into.
Second round would be about sas/excel/analytic.

your project experience and scope to use that in cognizant
I have joined through campus placement, 1st round is assessment with psuedo codes, english, aptitude questions. 2nd round is interview with technical persons then last round is HR. Then i got internship opportunity for 3months. If we clear that internship then we will get offer letter with in 20 -30 days.
I attended three rounds in the Cognizant interview process: Aptitude, Communication, and Technical rounds. The interview experience was smooth and professional. I successfully completed all rounds, but after the technical round, I did not receive any further update or email from the company Cognizant Technology Solutions
