      Executive Assistant Interview

      Mar 27, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Collective World

      Interview

Unprofessional. Had my first interview with the MD. He told me the interview process would be a fast one and I’d hear back soon. A week had passed so I sent a chase asking if any updates. Received a response the day after, being offered a second interview with himself and two others. He mentioned two other people had also been shortlisted. He had also asked me to create a few slides on how I’d tackle the role, would onboard myself and get under the skin of the business. I did this in my personal time and spent a while on it, as of course you want to impress. 5 minutes before my interview he sent me an email asking to reschedule. Frustrating, but it was fine, these things happen. I emailed back asking when would be best. Didn’t hear back. Sent another email the week after as my week was becoming quite hectic. Crickets. Never heard back. No updates, no the position has been filled, no sorry for not getting back to you. Nada. Found out a few days ago that someone had started a month ago. Had they never had asked to do a few slides, I wouldn’t have minded. But I spent so much of my personal time on it, not only did they waste my time, but by not responding they insulted it. Common courtesy would have been nice. I wish the new EA all the luck, hope they treat you well.

      Question 1

One of the questions was on previous experience. (I’d write the rest but I don’t want to give this company any more of my time)
