      Python Backend Developer Interview

      Jul 3, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Com Olho in Apr 2025

      Interview

      1. My resume was shortlisted for a role, and I was contacted by the team lead for the next steps. 2. A technical interview was scheduled for 14th April 2025. The panel included the team lead and both co-founders of the company. 3. The majority of the interview was led by the team lead, and towards the end, one of the co-founders inquired about the gap in my resume. Interview Summary: The questions focused on Django fundamentals. Though I vaguely remember but, one key problem involved designing a blog with a comment model and returning the number of comments in JSON format. There were also questions related to fetching data using Django ORM and general concepts expected at a fresher level. I made a few mistakes during the interview and honestly wasn’t confident about the outcome. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the team lead, inviting me for a walk-in interview. It felt like a positive step forward, and I promptly replied, requesting details about the interview location and whether it would be technical or behavioral. Unfortunately, I did not receive any further communication. Despite the professional tone during the interview process, the lack of closure was disappointing and disheartening. While the experience didn’t end the way I had hoped, it served as a valuable lesson in resilience and professionalism. I remain focused on improving my skills and staying ready for the right opportunity.
