      Senior Treasury Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Confie

      Interview

There were a total of three interviews (one with the recruiter and the other two with the hiring manager and his boss). The first was a 40 minute phone screen where the recruiter mainly focused on the skills/responsibilities mentioned on your resume. The second interview was with the hiring manager (via Microsoft Teams) who explains the nuances of the role and the current state of the department and asks a myriad of specific questions to determine if you are a good fit. This was the most difficult of all the interviews. The third and final interview is with the hiring manager's boss. This is the easiest of the face-to-face interviews and he will pretty much go easy on you if you do a great job during the previous interviews. All of the interviews lasted no more than 40 minutes. If you make it to the offer stage, know that they are going to low-ball you (the first offer will be at the very bottom of your desired salary range). I countered and they came back with a figure that was only $3k higher. The negotiation process was VERY frustrating. Ultimately, I decided not to accept their offer because it was too low; they also have low-quality and high cost medical and retirement benefits compared to other places.
