I was asked to pre-prepare a presentation and then answered questions on my education and resume. I had three interviewers, and I believe I was being assessed on my alignment to conservative values as well as my political awareness.

The interview process came about because I reached out to the MP directly. I then spoke to their assistant who set up an in person meeting in which they offered me the role.
