Was greeted by the initial recruiter that booked in the interview for a sales executive position. Something about the setup felt awkward and uncomfortable, before I was ushered by one of the directors into a small glass room. The actual interview was basically an opportunity for the director to sing all the businesses praises, without asking any challenging or probing questions and that their top sellers make £50k a year (which turned out to be a false statement). The one moment that made the experience laughable and unprofessional, was his spiel or lip service about how 'I was a man from his own heart'!! In hindsight I was played into accepting the job, as once I started the experience of being there was soul crushing. More on this will be explained in the review...
