Interview
First interview was a phone interview with their Operations person. 2nd interview was done via Zoom with both owners at the same time. Not your typical interview questions. Really made you think.

Question 1
How would you handle an employee who is not doing their job or pulling their weight?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ContentBacon.com
Interview
It was ridicolous. First I had to record a 5 minutes video to summarize my experiences. Then I did an interview which went very well. After a week they tell me I am supposed to do a test assignment after which they say "if the assignmet goes well, you will be hired immediately". Knowing for sure that I did the assignment well, I waited, and avoided taking other interviews.
Except it was a lie.
After nearly two weeks of wait, during which they tell me they're evaluating "all assignments" (so not just mine) they rejected me telling me they chose "another candidate who aligns more closely to our needs". So it wasn't about the (unpaid) 2.5-hours long assignment. I was competing with other candidates all along. I wasted one full month in total, several hours for the interview, assignment and recording a decent video, only to find out that someone else was "more suitable for the role".
Very unprofessional and very dishonest, to say the least.

Question 1
Just the usual bland, generic, run-of-the-mill interview questions "how you deal with difficult clients" or "what you do when you can't meet a deadline".
I applied online. I interviewed at ContentBacon.com (Tampa, FL) in Aug 2022
Interview
Had an initial zoom interview, which I thought went well. I was then asked to complete an editing assignment, which I believed that I was to be paid for. Turns out I wasted 3 hours on an editing job only to be rejected and unpaid. I am furious!
