I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Copytalk (Athens, GA) in Aug 2016
Interview
You apply online and select an interview date and time. You go in at that time and do two typing tests, one online to assess your typing speed and another to give you a chance to do a sample job. After that, they basically just ask why you want to work there, if you have any experience (doesn't matter if you don't), and tell you about the company policies. They generally accept or decline your application by the end of that day.
Simple. You just apply online and then come in to do a typing test. Then you transcribe an audio file. You should hear back within a day regarding your employment status.
Take a 3 min typing test (which you can practice ahead of time to prepare) and a 2 min transcribing test (clear audio, doable for a beginner scribe). They expect you to do that in 7 or 8 mins. Easy, if you're a good and fast touch typist.

Question 1
Very simple questions about their policies, which are on the website when you apply. Read those and you're fine. No questions about yourself or your personality or anything. It was strictly their rules and policies.
The interview was a 3 minute typing test to see how quickly you type, then a short audio file (2 minutes) that they want you to be able to transcribe in around 7 minutes.
