I applied online and did not hear back until about a month later. They wanted to set up an interview later that week but I had to postpone until the week after due to the short notice.
The interview process was very informal. There was no conversation before I went onsite with the exception of scheduling the interview via email. I received lengthy parking instructions via email the hour before my interview was scheduled. When I arrived, they didn't have a room reserved for the interview. They had to walk me around the area to find an available/private place to talk.
It seemed like the people interviewing me had not given prior thought to the questions they wanted to ask me. They had me review/highlight my previous work experience. I asked the majority of the questions since we had not spoken before that meeting.
When I asked about salary range, they told me I was more than qualified. No number was provided until my second interview that I ended up having the same day. (I already had another offer on the table and was honest about that. They seemed very interested/desperate for somebody to fill this position so they rushed the 2nd step of the 3 step process.) The salary was very low for this type of position, especially with the commute to downtown Nashville (MAX $55K).
After thinking about the job, I declined to go back in for the 3rd step/interview as it did not seem like the right fit for me.
