      Project Manager Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Covista (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2017

      Interview

I had an initial phone screen with the internal recruiter that lasted an hour and went very well. Next I had a phone screen with the hiring manager for about 45 minutes that also seemed to go well. I followed up via email with both the recruiter and hiring manager afterwards. About two weeks passed by and out of the blue the recruiter called to tell me that the hiring manager had just completed all of the phone screens and she would be in touch by end of business to let me know if they wanted to proceed. I never heard back from the recruiter, even after I followed up again via email. Unfortunately it seems to be normal and acceptable behavior for recruiters to choose avoidance and no response rather than a follow up note to communicate their decision to not move forward with you in the interview process.
