I applied online. I interviewed at Credence Innovations (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2018
Interview
Soon after I applied I received a call to come in for a 15 minute interview for some basic questions. It sounded very much like a phone screening, and since I had finals coming up and am about an hour away from Indy I asked if it could be done over the phone. They refused. I still decided to come in, though. When I started researching the company, I thought it looked really fishy. The website used a lot of trigger words, but it didn't seem to give a good description of what they did. Honestly, it was just a bunch of generic bs. They also claimed to represent "some of the largest clients in the nutrition, cosmetics, hair and skin care industries!" But, they didn't name any of their clients, which I found suspicious - any company who claims to have large/leading clients would back it up. Then, on glassdoor, I found many bad reviews that confirmed my suspicions. The good reviews are fake, short, and bs, it's easy to see that reading them. They're just there to pull more people into it.
I've had run ins before with companies that post job descriptions that are complete lies, and this had all of the same signs. In the end, I cancelled my interview. I didn't want to waste my time, and you shouldn't waste your time either. If you have a bad gut feeling, then listen to your gut and avoid this company.
