I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Crusoe (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2025
Interview
I had an initial screening with a manager about the projects that have done and then a coding round and then onsite (4 rounds) in-person. System design, technical discussion, HM round and coding round. The recruiter was really good and kind enough to share feedback after the onsite. The bar is as high as the level so should be careful about it. Even if you finish coding a solution and communicate throughout the process, it is not enough. Technical discussion was different where you have to explain a project to people from other domains.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crusoe (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was straight froward, after the recruiter screening, I had a conversation with the head of engineering, he asked about my projects and past experiences. The next round was a system design round, pretty straight formawrd but they did ask me a few networking concept, even though the role was for a backend software engineer, and I had specifically mentioned I do not know core networking. I could not clear this round even though I answered all the interviewr's question, maybe I was docked for the lack of networking concepts.
