they then called me back for a 2 hour face to face, the first hour being a group activity to sell a product and the second being face to face interviews

Interview
I applied online and a month later had a call to go in-store for an interview/chat. I was asked about knowledge on phones etc. They then asked me to go to training for 3 days, they pay for you to go stay in a hotel to carry out this training. This involved going through the companies policies, uniform and the process of selling products. There was also training on selling insurance and being compliant. At the end of the 3 days, you sat an exam/test in which you had to pass to get the job.
