      Management Interview

      Dec 27, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Los Angeles, CA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DAQRI (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Hiring manager was initially really friendly and forthcoming about the company. It was downhill from there. I was asked on multiple separate occasions what my salary expectations were. My to-be-supervisor didn't show up for my phone interview, which I had taken great efforts to attend including rescheduled meetings at my then-job. When I finally did get on a video chat, my to-be-supervisor had what looked like a pile of underwear or other laundry next to him at home. Once I did accept, things went smoothly. I took the job out of interest in the company, but that was a lesson learned. If the HR and supervisors don't treat you with a certain level of respect from the get go, that's a red flag, and it's going to continue to be a problem during employment.
