Did a phone interview with a recruiter and it went great. The conversation was great, I felt qualified, and I was given instructions on next steps and the interview process. I followed up immediately (as usual) and heard nothing. One week later I followed up again and heard back another 4 days later being told that there was another candidate they were interested in.
