Put in application in person. Heard back within a couple of weeks. Came in for an in-person interview. Talked about why I wanted to teach. Hired on the spot, filled out paperwork and began training.

Interview
The hiring process was very streamlined as I knew the hiring manager. He was one of my Swim Coaches at the time so he knew I knew how to swim and therefore, we just chatted about the requirements of the job and what was expected of me. He went over the way in which they taught, the progression of stroke, and essentially, treated me as if I already had the job. I then set up an appointment to get my background check and then set up an appointment for my first training session.
