All interviews were via google meet.
Round 1 - The HR and the Sales director cames
across as very professional and friendly.
Was informed company was not Deciphex but Diagnexia.
Round 2 - the HR director, US Director and again Sales Director. The company came across as very professional and friendly.
I was informed that round 3 would include a presentation to some younger team members and the CEO may be present.
Access to the presentation Slidedeck was restricted to 24 hours before the third round interview.
I had to sign an NDA. before getting access to the slidedeck. Turned out all 20 slides in the Slidedeck were taken directly from the company website.
When the interview started, I was kept waiting for 8 minutes. After a 15 minutes delay the team of 3 top management was ready, so we could proceed.
It was very apparent from the first word they had no interest in conducting a fair interview. Opening with the comment "location will be the deciding factor in proceeding with the hiring process". which for a WFH position was strange. Other questions included "what will you do for me if I hire you" etc. After a full round of your not going to get the job type question. They then moved to close the interview. At this point, I was past caring as I would not want to work in such an environment.
As I had expended an exceptional amount of effort on preparing a 20 slide presentation in 24 hours.
I ask what about the presentation. The reply was
"Maybe another time, we only have 7 minutes left."
I said good buy and ended to call. extremely annoyed.
