Defy Ventures interview questions

The interview process was certainly a lengthy one. I was living in LA and applying for a position in the NYC office. I did some part-time paid freelance work for two months before they flew me out to NYC for an in-person interview with the CTO and COO. Soon after, I Skype interviewed with the CEO and then I was hired. It took a while but considering the long distance I was moving to take the job, I was glad they took the time to make sure I would be a good fit.

Multiple 30 minute interviews via Skype over several months. Straightforward interview questions relating to leadership style, employment background as well as discussion and education about Defy's mission. Details of role in the company / job responsibilities were not discussed in the majority of the interviews. It was clear that the organization is in growth mode with many opportunities in front of it and that management structure and procedures are still being developed.
