Interview
Two phase interview. One with the Senior Manager of Visitor Services and one with the Assistant Manager. The first is pretty standard, and the second is geared more towards your knowledge of the collection.

Question 1
Can you work weekends? Do you have customer service experience?
Straightforward interview. Looking for artists/people who have worked in the service industry. Job is a cross between educator and guard and it was clear that they provide education to know the artists who are being shown in the gallery space.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dia Art Foundation (Beacon, NY)
Interview
Two weeks after submitting my resume I was contacted to schedule the first interview. The interviewer asked me to speak about my previous experience and asked about how long I planned to stay in the area. In the second interview, I was asked to fluently discuss three different artists whose work was in the collection.
