1st interview was a basic screening by recruiter, talked a lot about the company's benefits and salaries. Those seem excellent. 2nd and 3rd were technical interviews with the DBA team lead. These interviews were rough; the questions asked were nothing like what was suggested by the job description/ad, and expected rapid fire answers for the type of tasks/questions that require time and hands-on abilities to perform correctly. Interviewer was not a pleasant personality; they phrased questions in a trick manner and talked down to me. DistroKid would be well served by posting job ads with descriptions that actually match what is being looked for, and strongly need to work on their interview skillls. Funny thing is, I received the rejection e-mail at the same time as I was drafting a 'no thank you' letter to them. The universe works in funny ways.
