Interview
The interview process at Doxel started with an initial recruiter interview, where we discussed my qualifications and career goals. Following an initial interview, I was scheduled for a second interview with the hiring manager.
However, the hiring manager rescheduled the interview twice, just a couple of minutes before it was set to take place. While unexpected changes can happen, clear communication about rescheduling and offering alternative times would have been appreciated.
After investing time in multiple interviews with them, I received a generic rejection email without any specific feedback. This lack of feedback was disappointing after putting effort into the interview process.
I believe that for a new company like Doxel, they have an opportunity to create a good employer brand by paying attention to basic interviewing etiquette and providing constructive feedback to candidates. Open communication is crucial for maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the interviewing process.
