I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Draper (Cambridge, MA)
Interview
I was called by a manager and they asked me to come interview. They brought me out to their location and I meet with several of the team members. Very few in depth questions were asked. Interviewees are required to make a technical presentation, which I did. I think of you come in with proper credentials, and present well you have Completed moist of the challenge.
First you start with a round of behavioral and get to know you questions. If selected to move on you will then have to give a technical presentation in which everyone from the department is invited and will grill you following your presentation. Overall a very standard process but hard to BS your way through it is you have no idea what you're talking about. Select a technical subject that you are able to defend and you will be fine.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Draper
Interview
Applied, received email for an initial phone screening. Lasted slightly under an hour. Was asked general questions about my background, and listened to the interviewers about the projects they lead.
Was contacted later to schedule full interview. Consisted of a 5 hour day of interviews with team members. Gave a technical talk about a project I worked on.
Overall, very relaxed and informal process.
