I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dupont Circle Solutions in Jul 2022
Interview
Initial discussion with Talent department to gauge experience level, company fit, review benefits, and discuss my work history. Follow-up discussions with Managing Directors to drill deeper into work experience and continue to assess company fit. Completed a predictive index test during the process. Received an offer after a few weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Several questions around my experience dealing with clients and managing individuals. Other questions around project management. Why are you looking for new opportunities / to leave your current position?
Avoid this place like the plague - it took them 2 assessments (a cognitive one and a behaviorial one) and then 4 rounds of interviews (all the way to final round with leadership), only to decide that the "fit" wasn't right.
#1 - if you put somebody through that many interviews, the good places will at least do the common courtesy of calling you with the bad news and provide you with some actionable feedback. Dupont Circle Solutions does not. In addition, they force candidates to the PI index assessments, which only reinforces my experience that companies that lean on these things only do so because they have no idea what they're doing in first place.
#2 - the recruiters are liars...when I called mine (in an innocent and honest attempt to get more detailed feedback on the end decision), he simply lied/gaslighted me by saying that I must have had the wrong number, even though I had dialed it from the same number in my call log that he had called me from (and it's the same number on his e-mail signature), not to mention that it was OBVIOUSLY him by tone of voice.
Long story short, any company that thinks that little of their applicants, especially those that get deeper in the process, is not worthy of your time.
