Interview
There are usually two/three phases.
1. Basic coding test. Online/Onsite. Here the interviewee is questioned about basic programming concepts regardless of the language, data-structure, algorithms, OOP, and database. Additional questions may be asked based upon the submitted resume.
2. Advanced coding test. Onsite. In this phase, the questions become trickier and the interviewee is likely to write down solutions in pen-paper.
3. Final phase. Onsite. Reaching this round one can be sure of a job offer. At this stage, one of the higher-ups is likely to take a behavioral interview along with some technical questions.

DS & Algo: Basic data structures such as linked-list, tree, Recursion, graph-theory, searching, sorting, etc.
Java core concepts like Collections framework, multithreading, OOP and others if applicable.
Relational database concepts and SQL queries.
These are the most commonly asked topics. Additional questions may be asked based on the submitted resume.
