During the interview process, I encountered a level of disrespect and disregard that was deeply unsettling. The employees I interacted with via Zoom demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy, with some displaying overt signs of disinterest and disdain towards my responses and qualifications. Notably, the HR representative's dismissive attitude and apparent eye-rolling only exacerbated the already uncomfortable situation.
Moreover, the lack of transparency regarding the interview format and content was alarming. Despite being contacted to schedule the interview with minimal notice, I was not informed of the theoretical and technical questions that would be posed during the assessment. This left me at a significant disadvantage and unable to adequately prepare, further contributing to the unfavorable experience.
It is disheartening to feel as though I was treated as a mere inconvenience, rather than a potential asset to the company. The interview process should be a collaborative exchange aimed at determining mutual fit and potential for growth. However, the atmosphere created during my interview felt hostile and demoralizing.
