I applied online. I interviewed at EQ Works (Canada, KS) in Aug 2022
Interview
It was about some algorithms which are actually advanced topic so I couldn't get through it. They also assigned me a task to implement some location using map in web app.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at EQ Works (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2022
Interview
No real initial interview, was given a work package instead that required several hours to complete. The work package was very detailed and required a decent understanding of SQL, Python's ORM package, Apache Airflow, and Apache Spark. on top of concepts relating to geospatial data. I did well, was invited to an "interview" with the team which honestly just consisted of a sales pitch on their platform without any questions about me, my experience, and what I was looking for in a role since they seem to prefer asking those over email (?). While I wasn't ghosted, they clearly had another candidate as they didn't bother moving forward for two months. I stopped responding to their emails and got hired for another position in the meantime.

Question 1
Something about mapping the shortest distances between several locations given as longitude and latitude, which required some special equation to actually calculate. You should be able to find their work package on Github.
