Interview
For a small company, they have a complex and time consuming process designed to make it feel like they are big 4 when it's the opposite.
The interview was supposed to be 7 step process:
1. Intro w/ HR
2. Skills and experience assessment w/ HR
3. Cultural fit w/ HR
4. Skills and experience assessment detailed
5. Behavioral tests - onsite
6. Panel interview - onsite
7. Final discussions

Interview
I had a round 1 interview with HR and was asked the standard “tell us about yourself” questions.
A follow-up interview was scheduled two weeks later with the same HR worker. Many of the questions were the same. I was then told that I would hear back after the holidays (~2 weeks.)
I reached out after 3 weeks of no contact and was told that the HR employee was no longer a team member and that they were pursuing other candidates.
Many aspects of the company sounded excellent, but it was very concerning to hear the work/life balance described.
