Applied online to what I thought was a direct hire position since the posting never mentioned a staffing agency. Went through a phone screening which informed me the position would be a 3-6 month contract (again never mentioned in the posting). I was confirmed for an " in-person interview" the next day. The confirmation e-mail never mentioned the address so I had to take it upon myself to get the location of the interview from the recruiter. The interview itself consisted of completing new hire paperwork for the agency (which also notes that you have to pay for the background screening and drug test that they require out of your first paycheck through them). Once it was time to interview, it was literally just a reiteration that the position was contact and that it looks like I have the experience. No questions for me or any additional details. I was told that I should receive a phone call directly from the company, and that once I received that call I should give the staffing agency a call back....literally made no sense. I never heard from the company about the job, and the staffing agency never followed up.
