The interview process was smooth. I applied through a consultancy firm and she confirmed that Echelon had shortlisted my resume for the interview.
Here starts the misery:
There were two interviewers who asked questions one by one. The questions were not difficult for me as I have deep knowledge of Django Framework.
I answered all of them in the proper manner. After the interview I was very confident that either I will be called for next round or I will get an offer letter. But what I got was 'excuse'.
The interviewers either lied or the management wanted a cheap labor. The feedback was -
1. He doesn't have knowledge of Django (oh please, I could easily sense you guys were asking questions from google, you should at least have your own knowledge base to ask questions yourself).
2. He has degree in Robotics Engineering (for Echelon degree > knowledge) so not suitable (Why didn't you see that during shortlisting? Why waste precious time in conducting interview then?
3. I got the feedback from the consultancy firm that these guys are link this, they had got similar feedback earlier too and they can't tolerate people who are more knowledgeable. They just want cheap labor.
So overall very negative experience.
