      Technical Support Specialist Interview

      Jun 20, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Edlink (Austin, TX) in Jun 2026

      Interview

The interview process consisted of five stages over approximately five weeks - an initial recruiter screen, a functional interview, a writing assessment, an in-person values interview, and a final team dinner. For an entry level technical support position this felt a bit extensive, though I genuinely enjoyed each step and was excited throughout by the prospect of joining the team. The good: The process felt personal rather than transactional at every stage. The recruiter was communicative and the team dinner in particular was a genuinely enjoyable experience which gave a real sense of the company's culture and people behind it. Something to be aware of: Logistics were occasionally a bit last-minute -confirmation for the in-person values interview arrived the same day with about four hours notice, which made scheduling a little tight. After completing all five stages, I was informed the decision came down to needing "more direct experience." While disappointing, this type of feedback feels more useful earlier in a process - candidates investing five rounds deserve clarity on must-have qualifications upfront. Overall: The team is genuinely kind and the work feels exciting and meaningful. I wouldn't hesitate to apply again if circumstances changed. Just go in with clear questions about technical requirements early, and be prepared for a thorough process.
