Was asked about what eirgrid do, followed by questions about time management, working in teams, overcoming challenges, etc. Not really much technical stuff. Most of the interview was focused on making sure you're a generally competent employee rather than on validating your engineering skills

What was the biggest challenge you faced in the last year and how did you overcome it?
4 stage process. application with cv etc, online psychometric test, video recorded questions and then an in person interview with 3 on the panel. It was all friendly and pretty seamless
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EirGrid (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2023
Interview
It was competency and behaviour based interview, with three members of staff, including a HR representative and two senior engineers. The interview lasted around 45 minutes. It was an in person interview
