The interview was heavily focused on AI, LLMs, and product management concepts. A large portion of the discussion covered AI fundamentals, including how LLMs work, their real-world applications, limitations such as hallucinations, prompt engineering, RAG, and evaluation methods for AI products. On the product side, there was a strong emphasis on product metrics, where I was asked to define success metrics for different products and features, identify north star metrics, distinguish between leading and lagging indicators, analyze user behavior, and explain how I would measure the impact of product launches and diagnose metric changes. Overall, the interview required a combination of AI knowledge, product thinking, analytical problem-solving, and a solid understanding of product metrics.
