There are3 rounds of interviews, each increasing in difficulty, scope, and length. Each round of interviews included a panel of current Fellows and other people in leadership positions within the Foundation. In COVID times, they were all virtual but I was told that in pre-COVID era, the 2nd and 3rd interviews were conducted in person at the El Pomar campus in Colorado Springs.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is one example of an accomplishment that you are particularly proud of?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at El Pomar Foundation (Colorado Springs, CO) in Mar 2011
Interview
This is one of the most intense processes you will ever go through. After a phone interview with a panel of current Fellows, you are flown in for two days of in-person screening. You interview with a panel in person (sometimes two different panels), then have a brief conversation with the President and CIO. El Pomar pays for your hotel and travel and you are usually taken to lunch by a current Fellow.
