I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Eldorado Trading Group (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Applied through school's website. On-site interview. The office environment is good and people are nice and friendly. They asked a few questions about your background and basic derivatives questions. Not hard at all. They are just another prop-firm.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eldorado Trading Group (Denver, CO) in May 2014
Interview
Phone Screen. Then a 2-day interview in office. Ask you behavioral questions and a few brainteasers in first round. Also some mental math, have to be quick.
Second round was unique. You are asked to do arithmetic calculations on an excel sheet without any aid or paper. They time you and add distractions by turning up the TV, playing music and talking while you are doing the math calculations. Be prepared for it.

Interview
I got an email saying that my application was approved for the next step and I was invited to take the online trader assessment: a two part test. The first part was behavioral and the second was math based. The math based test had simple calculations. It was a 5 minute test and I do not recall the total number of questions but every time you submit your answer, they add 2 seconds to your time (probably trying to factor in the internet delays etc.). As a result, sometimes with too many easy calculations in a row, you actually see your remaining time going up rather than going down.
After the test, they have never got back to me (even if with a negative response). It has been 3 weeks and in spite of a few reminders and follow up emails, I am still waiting for a response. Professional? I doubt.
