I received the phone screen, it was really in a rush, it was scheduled as half an hour but actually only took 10 mins. And as I anticipated, I was not selected for the next round.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Emco Corporation (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2017
Interview
Interview was a phone interview for screening purposes. It was a surprisingly long interview for a first phone interview - it took around 25 mins. The recruiter was very friendly and at the end, when I asked her, what her experiences were with EMCO and how she got into her position, she was very helpful. Overall a positive experience! However, if you would get past the very first screening process, there would have been three more stages to go through including an assessment center and several manager interviews.
For female applicants: You will be asked, if you've been working in a male dominated workplace and if you mind working there. You will also be asked, if you've done work before, where you had to lift heavy things.
