      Account Executive Interview

      Mar 12, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Energy CX (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2026

      Interview

Pretty straightforward, but odd. The recruiter that initially reached out was fantastic, 2nd round interview felt like the interviewer was annoyed I had even shown up, and I passed. Last round was an in-person Superday where you're interviewed by a panel of 3 people. It's can be tough to swing if you're currently in a role, as the Superday lasts almost 2 hours. Overall, the final round interviews were positive, and I really enjoyed my time in the office. The process does seem to lack transparency though, as I was told they "needed me" during one of the final round interviews, honestly making it quite a surprise when I got an email saying they weren't going forward, containing no context or feedback. While understanding tough decisions need to be made, it felt unusual. Definitely some great people there though!
