Recruiter interview then interview with Engineering manager. First, the interviewer came with very low energy. That was off putting. I did my background research about the company. I asked the interviewer about the management and layoff issue and what they are planning to do about it. He admitted the issue and gave me "it is what it is" attitude. All the information I gathered reveal that it's a toxic company/culture. So I didn't bother to proceed to the next step.
