I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Entangled Solutions in Dec 2019
Interview
I received an invitation to do a phone screen with an HR person 5 days after I applied online. After this phone call the HR person moved me onto the next round which was a take-home assignment. I was given 2 days (happened to fall on Wednesday and Thursday) to complete the assignment. The morning the assignment was due I was told there was a second assignment I should try to complete by COB. Between the short turnaround for one assignment plus dumping another one so late the process seemed to be a bit unorganized. I was given the option to submit the second assignment later but I felt the pressure to compete by the deadline for the original assignment.
After this assignment I was moved onto a phone call with the role's supervisor. I was invited to schedule the this second phone interview on a Monday at noon was told I should schedule the interview for a time before COB Wedesday. The reasoning was that they wanted were "hoping to hire the role quickly". Again the process seemed rushed.
Following this 2nd round phone interview I was invited to do an on-site. The original HR person initially gave me a wrong address (slightly understandable given they work in SF and the interview was at their NYC office), but they also told me I would only be speaking with the role's supervisor which was untrue as I interviewed first with someone from a different department They also told me what would be covered in the on-site which in the end, none of it was discussed. It was frustrating to be given a set of expectations about a final round interview and then for it to all change at the very last minute. I had prepared for what I was told and then presented with different circumstances.
After this on-site interview the final decision came after 5 weeks despite the initial "we are hoping to hire the role quickly".
Everyone I spoke with at Entangled was pleasant and engaging but the actual interview process was disjointed and at times plainly incorrect.
