The interview process for me started off with a phone interview that took place just days after I had shown interest in the position that was available. The interviewer, who was a software engineer, was the most respectful, nice and professional person that you could ever hope for. We discussed the position and all of my technical skills. Interview was very professional but also was not stressful so it felt like a very natural conversation. After the initial phone interview, a recruiter from the human resources department called me and talked to me about the benefits of working for Entegra Systems, which cleared up any other questions that I didn't ask during the initial interview. Next I was sent a coding challenge, that I was given plenty of time to finish, even with my busy school schedule, and when I finished and sent it in, I not only received initial confirmation about Entegra Systems receiving it, but in just a day later, I had received feedback about my particular challenge and was able to go over it with a software engineer who worked for the company on my design and thought process about my coding challenge and the Software Engineer also explained how other people went about the challenge and suggested ways that I could improve my design, which was awesome. I was then told that within the week that I would be contacted and told whether or not I was going to be offered a position, and they contacted me a few days later with an offer. Overall, a very stress-free interview process, in which they actually spend time getting to know you and will even reach out and help advance your coding skills with the interview after the coding challenge.
