      Design Interview

      Feb 4, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Eagan, MN
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Essential Engine (Eagan, MN)

      Interview

Set up an interview time over the phone. Had an in person interview. When I said what job I was interviewing for I was told I was wrong, and that I was applying for a different position. I was asked a few questions, was never asked to show my portfolio, and was given a short InDesign test by another employee. I wasn't offered a job until a month later. It took two weeks to receive a formal offer letter. The communication during that time was poor.
