I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Event Temps in Jun 2012
Interview
Saw the job listing on Craigslist, called, and was brought in for a short interview. They told me to come back a few days later for an information session. They went over the process, briefly covered how to carry a tray, set a table, etc., had us fill out some paperwork and that was it. Its easy to get hired, but they have a lot of people on their roster and if someone gets consistent bad reviews, is late, sloppily dressed, etc. they simply will stop giving you work or just fire you.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Event Temps (Boston, MA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Email, then a phone call, and then an invitation to orientation. The orientation is painfully long but it is helpful in the long run. You can tell they are seasoned employees who run the orientations and are a little bit burnt out / fed up with newcomer nonsense.
