The interviewers seemed very friendly, and the woman who hired me was very forthcoming about the position. I appreciated her honesty and recognize that this company is unethical. The job post, interviews, and correspondence preceding my official offer of employment from ExpertMRI, including an emailed soft-offer, all related to an Account Executive position. The offer came through as an Account Representative position and the territory was not even close to what was discussed during my final interview. My concern about the vastly different title offered was blown off by HR on Tuesday morning, Recruitment forwarded me emailed confirmation early afternoon that I was being offered the title and territory formerly agreed. I was texted by her again within an hour, stating that there is going to be some slight change, and at around 4PM I got an email that they were rescinding my offer. 6PM Recruitment contacted me to discuss the proposed territory, having no idea that the offer had been rescinded, asked me to forward her that letter and stated that she would speak with the person who hired me and call me once she had. I texted this morning for clarification and have not heard back, but it appears they've reposted the job to the same board.
As women we deal with certain things, but it maybe worth noting, I was told during my second interview that I should be willing to flirt and play the attractive woman card in order to be successful in the role. The job market is tough right now and I accepted that as the reality.
This experience has been utterly confusing and astoundingly unprofessional. I was really trying to be positive after having read the reviews here, but I suppose people were motivated to write for a reason. Be careful.
