      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expression games in Sep 2024

      Interview

I had three interviews each lasting 1 hour with several people from the studio across various roles. They were all nice to talk to and the interviews went well. 3 hours of interviewing is a lot. In a fourth call/chat (where the CEO was said to join but didn't) I was offered the job but the salary offer was a very low amount with no wiggle room. I sadly had to decline the offer. I interviewed again months later when the same role got posted, this time there was a single 1 hour interview. Again I had a nice chat with two people from the studio, and I thought it went well. After the interview the studio proceeded to ghost me and the HR rep didn't respond to emails. A quick email saying I was unsuccessful would've been appreciated, but instead nothing. Sad to see as there were 4 good interviews with nice people and the work seemed interesting.
