I was contacted by an external recruiter, who was very nice and helpful during the whole process. He communicated my salary range to the company. I then went through 4-5 interviews and was invited to another call to get an offer. The last call was with the second CTO, who I've never seen through the whole process. He offered me below my minimum salary expectation. I asked why I was even interviewing if their range was not supporting my expectation he answered with "Yeah, sorry just a misunderstanding" and then continued to praise the free fruits and drinks in the office. I wasted time and preparation for this interviews.
