I applied online. I interviewed at FCI Multiple Services (Easton, PA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Applied online, got an email and later a call with a few quick screening questions. One of them I recall was "are you familiar with the track changes function in Word?" --I ended up getting the job and can confirm that you use track changes a lot, lol.
The office isn't super obvious from the outside, but if you follow the instructions in the email you should be able to find it okay. I was brought to a small conference room where I was interviewed by 2 individuals with mainly a lot of basic interview questions you can prepare for. I got past the "what are your weaknesses?" question with the oldest trick in the book, "I don't have any experience in this type of job." If you are decently prepared and present yourself well you shouldn't have a lot of trouble here. They will ask you if you can work overtime--you will need to say yes if you want to get hired--and they will hold you to it. The nature of the job requires overtime. I was introduced to a few of the upper management who asked me more off the cuff questions of the same nature--"where do you see yourself in 5 years?"
When the interview was over, they asked if I was able to stay and do job shadowing that day. I did, but you can schedule for another day if you've got somewhere to be. Job shadowing meant learning the document editing guidelines from the QA manager, looking over his shoulder and trying to get a hang of it, then being plopped in front of a computer and asked to mark up translated files. There were 2 files I had to just essentially proofread according to guidelines, but then the third task was to create a translation template in Microsoft Word. To do this correctly you should have a grasp of how to make and edit tables in Word.
Got a call with an offer within the next week.

Are you familiar with the track changes function in Word?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at FCI Multiple Services
Interview
Boring and did not include actual details of job responsibilities. They asked me to edit a word document which was very easy. I edited the document and was apparently hired based on that.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FCI Multiple Services in May 2023
Interview
I was called a few hours after I put in my application on their website. We had a quick phone screening, where they asked me various questions, including my experience with the entire MS Package, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. At the end they asked me what my salary expectations were and when I told them. Then they blatantly stated that the salary for this role is $40K, although the listing states that's where the salary starts for this role. They were not willing to budge, regardless of experience, and then ended the call. It was a little unprofessional toward the end.
