I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FGH Security (Liverpool, England)
Interview
I successfully passed my interview with FGH Security and submitted all required screening information on the same day over four weeks ago. The screening process has not even been completed yet a month later.
After an extended period trying to get an update, I was told the screening alone could take a further four weeks meaning there is a minimum of two months from interview before there is any prospect of starting work.
This was never communicated at any point in the process.
If you are applying for a zero-hours role here because you need to start earning quickly, this is not the job for you. Be prepared to wait up to two months before your first shift.
FGH markets itself as one of the UK's best places to work. That standard should extend to how it treats candidates, not just employees. Transparent timelines cost nothing. Misleading people about when they can start work does.
